#14 Days Of Holiday- Day 3

So today I went to the Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure park. It was good and these little guys made me smile for a couple of reasons…

The first reason was because they were pretty…!

Then this afternoon we went to this place…

‘No The Fort’ kinda sums up my thoughts on the place, but still my dad enjoyed it, so…

#14DaysOfHoliday

Ok, so… I’m not really very good at keeping this blog up to date!!! Buuuut… I have an idea!!!

My best friend does a really cool blog #100HappyDays where she posts about something that has made her smile every single day! I’m not that dedicated and once I’m back at work I’ll be nowhere near that committed! But I’m gonna give it a go on my 2 week holiday…

So stayed tuned folks!

Best Friends Forever!

So I found this on Facebook this evening…

And it really does sum us up!

So here are the reason why I love my Best Friend

1) she is there for me NO MATTER what! Whether it’s a family problem (which I seem to have a lot of lately!) or a stupid guy problem she is there for me, listening to me whittle on til the early hours of the morning!

2) She’s honest and will tell me exactly what she thinks, even if it’s not necessarily what I want to hear! But that’s ok, cos everyone needs someone to tell them the truth and I love her more for it!

3) She has awesome kids! 🙂

4) most of my favourite memories involve her in one way or another- concerts, days out, theme parks, SITC 13, (completely sober!) birthdays, etc.

5) She is a member of my family. And always will be. End of.

6) she have me this for my 25th Birthday…

Which is most definitely the best present I have ever had!

7) We share a love of all things Disney!

8) We also share a love of motif t-shirts!

9) We are VERY similar but also VERY different. Which makes us great!

10) She’s Nicola and she’s fantastic! And I could have saved my time writing this by just using those five words 🙂

An Eventful Weekend…0

So I had the busiest weekend that I’ve had for ages! And it has broken me…

On Friday night, as the observant will know I went to see ‘Divergent’ with two of my friends. Such a good film! And an even better night with my friends. Have not laughed so much in ages!

Then Saturday I went to a 2yr olds birthday party! Had a fantastic time but injured myself in the process… thought it would be a good idea to have a race through a kiddies tunnel and in the process head butted the floor! A massive lump and bruise immediately appeared as well as some very random bruises up my arms and down my legs.

Of course I now looked as though I had been beaten up and of course this was on the first Saturday I was planning on going out for a drink in a long time…!

After managing to just about cover (or so I thought!) my lump/bump/bruise I set off for the pub with my best friend. We were going for our friend Cathy’s birthday and good fun was had by all!
Here’s a snap of my best friend Nicola and I… >

Things I’ve found out this evening…

So this evening has been possibly the funniest I’ve had in a long time! Literally laughed until I’ve cried on several occasions!

And I learnt a few things along the way…
For example…

Did you know it’s possible to get this:

From McDonalds??? Yes, it’s a quarter pounder with cheese burger WITHOUT the bun! (I may be slightly mad, but I’ve given up bread for lent, but that’s a whole other blog post!)

I also learnt that myself and my two friends I was with share a (now not so) secret erm… appreciation of this LOVELY guy 🙂

Anyway, on that note I shall bid thee goodnight…

Soooo I have no idea what I’m doing here…

Hi there!

My name is Ruth, but to be honest no one ever calls me that! I’m usually called Ruthie, Rufus, Roopie or any other number of random names people come up with for me; so feel free to call me what you want!

Anyway I have no idea what so ever of what to write for this first blog so thought I’d explain where the name ‘hard isn’t impossible’ came from!

It all started yesterday when my best friend told me I should do this because I was bored! So tonight I decided to set it up, but couldn’t for the life of me think of a name! Now I LOVE reading, so came up with the idea of using a quote from a book… I had 3 choices…

1) ” we believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another” from Divergent by Veronica Roth

2) “Well for starters your an evil duck killer” from The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

3) “yeah, it’s hard. really, really hard. But ‘hard’ is not impossible” from Just Another Kid by Torey Hayden.

So I after much “umming”, “arrring” ‘hardisnotimpossible’ was born! My own little corner of the World Wide Web 🙂

Love
